Former New York Giants safety Tyler Sash was arrested early Saturday morning in Iowa after leading police on a drunken scooter chase and being shot with a Taser.
Sash, who played two seasons with the Giants, was charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts by police in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Tyler Sash, who played for the Giants in 2011 and 2012, was arrested for public intoxication after leading police on a scooter chase.
According to multiple reports, police spotted Sash at approximately 1:30 a.m. riding a motorized scooter with its lights off and asked him to stop.
Sash, however, reportedly refused on multiple occasions, leading police on a four-block chase before leaving the scooter and fleeing on foot.
Police eventually found Sash hiding behind a tree and, after the 25-year-old refused to come out, shot him with a Taser.
Sash declined a field sobriety test but admitted to drinking and was taken to Mahaska County Jail.
A sixth-round draft pick in 2011 who played in college at Iowa, Sash appeared in 23 games with the Giants. He was suspended in 2012 for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances and was cut by the Giants prior to last season.

So that concussion thing in the NFL is real?
I can't decide if this continues the decline of humanity as we know it or if this has something to do with the repercussions of concussions from playing football. Here's the story from ESPN:

Epic Razor Throwback
This picture was tweeted by Elisabeth Hasselbeck and features her husband Tim along with former Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck wearing the old school Razor T-Shirt while backstage with Bret Michaels
Now I follow Elisabeth anyway because I have celiac disease, and when I was originally diagnosed her books helped me more than anything. At the same time I do not agree with her politically views of the world, but I know she means well. So to see her post a picture of her brother in-law wearing an old school Razor T-Shirt is pretty incredible. So thank you for sharing this Elisabeth it made my day.

The rrrrrrrrRaiders
They did what? Ok so it turns out that (should be) future hall of fame wide reciever for the Oakland Raiders Tim Brown has accused former Raider Coach Bill Callahan for "sabotaging" Super Bowl XXXVII.
In the game which was won by former Raider Coach Jon Gruden's Tampa Bay Buccaneers 44-21 according to Tim Brown the Raiders plan was to have a run heavy offensive game plan to take advantage of their size advantage over the smaller Tampa Bay team. The game plan went in on the Monday before the Super Bowl and it was changed on Friday to a pass happy game plan. Most NFL players will tell you that is something coaches don't do. Here's what Tim Brown said:
Jerry Rice went on ESPN to talk about his take on the situation, here's the video:

"We all called it sabotage ... because Callahan and Gruden were good friends. And Callahan had a big problem with the Raiders, you know, hated the Raiders. You know, only came because Gruden made him come. Literally walked off the field on us a couple of times during the season when he first got there, the first couple years."In another weird twist of fate then starting center Barret Robins went AWOL the night before the game and went to Mexico. According to Brown he was so upset about the game plan change saying "you can't do this to us" that he left.
